Protective Equipment

  • Standard shop personal protective equipment (safety glasses, no long hair, no flowing clothes, closed-toe shoes, etc.) are required
  • Wear non-flammable clothing, as the machine throws sparks and molten metal

Pre-Operation Checks

  • Verify lack of flammable materials in the area
  • Verify lack of puddles of water

Allowable Materials

  • Mild steel and stainless steel only.
  • Non-ferrous metals, galvanized, painted / coated metal are prohibited.
  • See individual machine pages for maximum capacity.

Post-Operation

  • Return spot welder to shelf
  • Coil extension cord
