Scanning using a PC
- Connect your Windows laptop to the Ethernet network. You cannot scan using the wireless network.
- Install the Canon LEI Scan app (located here [https://downloads.canon.com/bisg2020/LeiScanAppV1-4.zip]) on your Windows laptop.
- Follow the instructions on this video starting at 3:33 [https://youtu.be/pCsXfB2TkqA?si=_h5V3umkV1aJgDLY&t=213] to detect and number your laptop.
- Then scan and the file will show up on your laptop automatically.
(I need to complete this, but I also need to learn the editing stuff first.)
Scanning using a USB drive
- Insert the USB drive
- Select TIFF output format. (This is the only format that can be used with USB scanning)
- Scan
