This is a "radial" drill press.

This machine is held together by a set of cylindrical clamps on various posts that form the machine structure.

This property allows the user to tilt and reposition the drill press head and the table, if desired.

Please refer to the Rikon 30-250 manual for more detail on how to make these adjustments.

To change the spindle speed

1. Unplug the machine.

2. Open the belt cover.

3. Loosen the belt tension lock (A) and pull forward on the motor (B).

4. Choose the desired speed from the chart on the inside of the cover.

5. Shift the belt on the pulleys to the desired configuration.

6. Push back on the motor to tension the belt.

7. Tighten the belt tension handle.
