Artisan's Asylum Machine Shop Rules

1. Safety googles are required at all times.

2. Sturdy, closed-toed shoes and long pants required.

3. Every powered tool in this shop requires testing or training from a supervisor.

4. No gloves of any kind.

5. No wood. Plastics OK!

6. Be awesome. Clean up after yourself. Leave no chips, no oil, no tools.

7. Report all broken equipment to maintenance@, and tag with a Red Tag.

8. We are a volunteer-run shop: all cleaning and fixing is done by people like you.

9. You are an example to others - take care in your work.

10. You are required to subscribe to the machine shop monitors list.

Classes have priority on all machines.

Violating these rules will result in revocation of shop privileges.
