Beadkreative is a new beads and gifts store in Union Square, opened four months ago. We sell beading and leather jewelry supplies, teach beading classes and are building up a consignment shop for artisans to sell their pieces at a very fair rate.

MassRIDES Need an emergency ride home?

  • No one wants to be stuck in an emergency. If you walk, bicycle, carpool, vanpool, or use public transportation at least twice per week, MassRIDES will reimburse you for a taxi or rental car home if you have an emergency. You can learn more and enroll for ERH at

If you are looking for someone to travel with anywhere within Massachusetts find colleagues and other travelers here is a free online service where you can get rewards when you travel by public transportation, biking, walking, or carpooling for work or for fun!

Here’s how to get started: 1. Join NuRide – Sign up at using your email and indicating Artisan’s Asylum as your organization

2. Take a Trip – Walk, Carpool with colleagues, bike to a friend’s house, or hop on a bus.

Voting Rights

Shape the direction of our community! Monthly members with 6 months of paid membership in the last 12 at each election qualify to vote to elect Board Members and Officers. Voting members can also call special meetings and ask the Board to focus on a certain task or program that the community would like to see.
