This is one process to create and update a Materials Safety Data Sheet (MSDS)

# Take a photo of every material in a shop, focusing on any labeling available.
# Lookup on the web for the most authoritative and recent SDS for the material. I would either use the site of the manufacturer or the [https://sdsmanager.com/us/ SDS Manager] web site as a lookup tool. 
# Create a shop specific wiki page for all SDS's in the shop based on the [[Machine Shop Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS)|Machine Shop MSDS]].
# Print all the SDS's and place them in the shop specific binder.

If the list of materials is big (> 20?) then I preferred to: 

# place all the photos in a [https://photos.app.goo.gl/krvuqebcoxgJj3he9 google photos folder] for reference
# collect the information in a [https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1DnWN2n7XkCb31ycitOJZEy5evKj4PEOJGWfb3CHa8Kc/edit?usp=sharing google sheet]
# Perform the lookup of every SDS as above
# Find a way to generate the wiki table from the google sheet and create the shop specific MSDS
