This is a 'RED tool. No reservation required
Kerr Electromelt furnace (now sold as Ventura-Melt) for casting metals into lost wax investment molds. Max temperature 2000 F, Metal capacity 30 troy oz (gold) - Approx 50 cc. You must be tool tested in the Casting Shop to reserve and use. You must work with a "buddy" who is also tool tested in order to use this tool. You must run the shop ventilators, wear gloves, eye protection and an N-95 dust mask when using this tool.
