This is a bench-top drill press.
Changing the Spindle Speed
1. Unplug the machine.
2. Lift up the belt and pulley guard (A).
3. Loosen the tension lock knob (B) and pivot the motor forward.
4. Use the chart (D) on the inside of the cover to select the desired spindle speed.
4. Move the belt (C) to the desired position on the two pulleys.
5. Push the motor back to tension the belt and tighten the lock knob.
6. Correct tension is when the belt can be flexed about 1" with light pressure.
