* Connect your Windows laptop to the Ethernet network. You cannot scan using the wireless network.

** Scroll down and hit the "Load More" button twice to get to the page with the LEI Scan app .zip file.
** Run the setup software as an administrator, or grant network privileges to the application, depending on your version of Windows.
** If you've started it already, you might have to stop it running and restart it as administrator so that it works correctly.

* Scanning to a USB drive inserted in the scanner:
** Insert the USB drive.
** Select the button that looks like a USB stick.
** Select TIFF output format. This is the only format that can be used with USB scanning.
** Select other scanning parameters.

Operating Instructions

Scanning using a PC

  • Connect your Windows laptop to the Ethernet network. You cannot scan using the wireless network.
  • Install the Canon LEI Scan app on your Windows laptop.
    • Scroll down and hit the "Load More" button twice to get to the page with the LEI Scan app .zip file.
