Operating Instructions
Scanning using a PC
- Connect your Windows laptop to the Ethernet network. You cannot scan using the wireless network.
- Install the Canon LEI Scan app on your Windows laptop.
- Scroll down and hit the "Load More" button twice to get to the page with the LEI Scan app .zip file.
- Run the setup software as an administrator, or grant network privileges to the application, depending on your version of Windows.
- If you've started it already, you might have to stop it running and restart it as administrator so that it works correctly.
- Follow the instructions on this video starting at 3:33 to detect and number your laptop.
- Scan to a file saved on your computer:
- Scan using the button that looks like a single file folder.
