This is one process to create and update a Materials Safety Data Sheet (MSDS)
- Take a photo of every material in a shop, focusing on any labeling available.
- Lookup on the web for the most authoritative and recent SDS for the material. I would either use the site of the manufacturer or the SDS Manager web site as a lookup tool.
- Create a shop specific wiki page for all SDS's in the shop based on the Machine Shop MSDS.
- Print all the SDS's and place them in the shop specific binder.
If the list of materials is big (> 20?) then I preferred to:
- place all the photos in a google photos folder for reference
- collect the information in a google sheet
- Perform the lookup of every SDS as above
- Find a way to generate the wiki table from the google sheet and create the shop specific MSDS
