The Artisans Asylum is governed by a Board of Directors, and three seats are designated to be elected by the members.  Every November, we elect members to fill vacant positions.  This is YOUR opportunity to be a voice representing members on the board, and to work with the amazing people who lead our organization.  

You don't have to have served on a board before to have valuable input.  If you're interested, you can contact Puppy to find out about what it would like.  Also, if there's a person you wish would serve, you can suggest the name to Puppy and he'll reach out to them.

The member-elected positions are:

Board of Directors Member (2 seats)

Board members are the trustees who steer the organization towards a sustainable future by adopting sound, ethical, and legal governance and financial management policies, as well as by making sure the nonprofit has adequate resources to advance its mission.

Member Liaison (1 seat)

The Member Liaison is a non voting member of the board of directors who is there to represent and advocate issues that involve the membership.
