How to Sign Up
![]() |
You can only sign up for mailing lists, not email addresses to an individual (e.g. a shop lead email address). |
---|---|
- Find the email address of the mailing list that you want to subscribe to, for example, "plasmashop-users@artisansasylum.com".
- Add "+subscribe" to the email address. In our example, this would be "plasmashop-users+subscribe@artisansasylum.com".
- Send an email to this address. You can use any subject or body.
- Wait for a confirmation email.
- Click the link in the confirmation email to confirm that you wanted to subscribe to the mailing list.
- In some cases, you'll need to wait for the mailing list owner to approve your request to join the list.
- Congratulations, you're signed up and you'll start seeing messages from this mailing list!

Shops
Shop lead emails and user lists are listed on each shop's page in the infobox on the upper right. You can join the shop's user list to discuss topics related to that shop.
Shop leads organize shop events, purchase shop-related supplies, and perform or delegate shop maintenance. Shop leads are often busy volunteers who may not get back to you for a bit.
