I am a long time member of Artisan's Asylum and I am honored to have gotten to grow alongside it and now sit on the board. I came to Artisan’s Asylum when I was just 19 years old as a young confused artist trying to find their way in the world. Through volunteering making connections and eventually teaching I became the thriving iconic creature I am now! Today I teach our Metalshop 101 class as well as having founded our blacksmithing program. On the board I aim to make Artisan’s Asylum a more equitable and inclusive place for all to grow and succeed the way I was able to. We have a long way to go but I hope me sitting on our board will mean something to all the communities I am a part of.
